More Baby Showers

Well the Moss family is not only welcoming one new member this year... Actually, two boys are on the way! Chad's sister, Courtney is 2 weeks behind me. Miles Derreck is due August 10th.

We had a shower for them on June 3rd in Nashville. Here are Ellie & the mommy to be~

 LOVE this diaper cake!! Patrick also got some cute clothes, diapers & some personalized bibs&burpies.

 Ellie was very tired by the end of the day. She fell asleep in the car on the way home.

Then, my most wonderful resident wife/friends gave us a dinner shower on June 24. We all met for dinner at a fun local place, Jack's. Allyson (AllyCats) did all the decor. She is very talented & creates some very nice, personalized party packages!!

 One of my most favorite gifts~ Patrick's door hanger!! He will definitely have the best looking door at Franklin Woods! I admire it everyday when I pass his room~ Marianne, Allyson & Lauren did a great job getting the shower together! We really enjoyed the evening with friends. I actually came straight from Nashville to dinner... We went to the Tim & Kenny concert the night before! Glad P decided to stay in!!

We are blessed to have such wonderful friends & family. Our children are loved, & we feel supported by you all! We could not appreciate all the showering anymore than we do & love you all so much! Hard to believe the countdown is on... Patrick Moss will be here in one week!!! i am 38 weeks & have a Repeat c/section scheduled on July 20th @ 10am ~ Pictures to come ~ Patrick shirts are in... they are really cute!

Perdido Key

My family vacation was the week of Memorial Day. We had such a wonderful week in Florida together. Indigo on Perdido Key is our favorite place to vacation & this year a select few of us got to stay for 10 days! Ellie had a great time on the beach, in the ocean & in the pool ... as you can see!

We had so much fun we talked about staying two weeks next year... then Michael popped the question & now we will be having a wedding next summer! We are SO excited for Marie & Michael & Ryan too!! Lots going on in our house this year... well, I guess that is probably every year!?! LOL!
We are enjoying our summer. Looking forward to baby Patrick & Miles arrival! Coming up very soon.

Baby Patrick's dinner shower

My friend, Brittney Sutton, gave us a dinner shower at LongHorns on Sunday May 20th. It was so nice!! She did a great job with decorations! I so enjoyed being with some of my closest friends & family.

Ryan is 1!!!

My sweet little nephew, Ryan, turned one on May 22nd! He had a whale party on Sunday. He was so cute in his smocked outfit~ he did not dive into the cake like we thought & by present time, he was tired. This year has flown by... It seems like he was just born!

Random May

Well, May was a busy month & I have some caching up to do!

Here are some belly pictures. I had my maternity session with my friend Lauren this week. I am 33 weeks tomorrow & she is leaving town for 3 weeks, so we went ahead & did the session. Might take a few more in studio when she gets back.

28 weeks

30 weeks with baby P

 This is just too cute not to show!! I know she will hate me for it one day!! Ellie got BIG GIRL furniture the weekend of Mother's Day. She was really excited about moving into her big girl bed. The first night was just ok, but she has done great since then. A few nights here & there she wakes up & comes in our room. I decided to walk her back to bed & not make a routine of her sleeping with us since I am not sleeping wonderfully anyway. She has been sleeping all night!

30 weeks...

& 9 more to go! We scheduled a repeat c/section on July 20th. So,  Mr. Patrick will be here by then for sure!! The dr still thinks my water could break & I could try to VBAC,  but I am not holding my breath. He is already a big baby & Ellie was in no hurry to come down or out ~ i am planning for the repeat with all our family here, but I guess you can never really tell with these babies!!
I am still doing great & Patrick sounded good too. He is still very active & his HR was in the 130's. I was pleased to have not gained any more weight this visit... I have not been eating very well. I want BAD food & am not in the mood to cook. Ellie & I went through Chick fil a on the way to the dr yesterday as a matter of fact. Oh well~ I haven't gained too much yet~hope vacation doesnt blow it!
Yes, vacation starts this week!! We are SO excited!! Ellie and I are driving to Nashville in the morning. My precious nephew is turning 1!! We are heading in for his WHALE party! Then some of my friends are givng me a dinner shower tomorrow night. We have plans to visit with some friends while we are in town!! Then we are heading to Perdido Key Thursday morning!!!! My dad has always talked about going for 10 days, but we have never done it... until this year! So we have the condo from Thursday through the following Saturday! Chad has Memorial Day week off & is flying directly to Florida. We are looking forward to a week of FUN, realaxation & sand~ will post lots of poictures when we get back!!

28 weeks

Last week was busy & I am now 28 weeks along!
My sister, Marie graduated nursing school!! I am so very proud of her. I look at her & think there is NO way I could have gotten through my last year of nursing school with a baby, much less breast feeding & traveling 50 minutes each way. She was pinned at a nice ceremony Thursday & walked with her BSN classmates on Friday afternoon. We had a great party for her Friday night~ CONGRATULATOINS NURSE MARIE MULLINS!!! Hard to believe I was in her shoes 8 years ago... awaiting a phone call to hear about that first job & talking the NCLEX! Whew, glad that is in the past!
We had a fun day at the pool Saturday. Ellie learned how to swim, with YaYa as her teacher. My mom told me she didn't need swimming lessons & look she was right again!! I bought this little vest for learners last year & it was too big, but it is perfect this year. My little 'scared of nothing' girl was going in the deep end by the end of the day & jumping in from the stairs, then cried when it was time to get out! I am so excited about the beach even more now!! look at her~

I went to the Dr. today. They are still only seeing one small, non-active bleed behind the placenta. At its largest 8 cm,  is now down to 4cm. Praise the Lord! Patrick is doing great & so am I. We are moving right along & I am feeling ready to get his room together. Hopefully, we can get it started before vacation & finish up the switching of furniture after. We bought the paint last week.  He is up to the 80% this week~ already weighing 3 pounds!! They have been closely watching his growth, & now I think he will be just fine size-wise! His hr was 136, good fluid & always lots of movement! Dr. Hodshon went on & put me on the books for a repeat c-section for July 20th. Dr. Drey, the same guy who delivered Ellie will do it again! I am feeling very blessed that all our prayers were heard & knowing He will continue to watch over us the next 10.5 weeks!
