& 9 more to go! We scheduled a repeat c/section on July 20th. So, Mr. Patrick will be here by then for sure!! The dr still thinks my water could break & I could try to VBAC, but I am not holding my breath. He is already a big baby & Ellie was in no hurry to come down or out ~ i am planning for the repeat with all our family here, but I guess you can never really tell with these babies!!
I am still doing great & Patrick sounded good too. He is still very active & his HR was in the 130's. I was pleased to have not gained any more weight this visit... I have not been eating very well. I want BAD food & am not in the mood to cook. Ellie & I went through Chick fil a on the way to the dr yesterday as a matter of fact. Oh well~ I haven't gained too much yet~hope vacation doesnt blow it!
Yes, vacation starts this week!! We are SO excited!! Ellie and I are driving to Nashville in the morning. My precious nephew is turning 1!! We are heading in for his WHALE party! Then some of my friends are givng me a dinner shower tomorrow night. We have plans to visit with some friends while we are in town!! Then we are heading to Perdido Key Thursday morning!!!! My dad has always talked about going for 10 days, but we have never done it... until this year! So we have the condo from Thursday through the following Saturday! 28 weeks
Last week was busy & I am now 28 weeks along!
My sister, Marie graduated nursing school!! I am so very proud of her. I look at her & think there is NO way I could have gotten through my last year of nursing school with a baby, much less breast feeding & traveling 50 minutes each way. She was pinned at a nice ceremony Thursday & walked with her BSN classmates on Friday afternoon. We had a great party for her Friday night~ CONGRATULATOINS NURSE MARIE MULLINS!!! Hard to believe I was in her shoes 8 years ago... awaiting a phone call to hear about that first job & talking the NCLEX! Whew, glad that is in the past!
We had a fun day at the pool Saturday. Ellie learned how to swim, with YaYa as her teacher. My mom told me she didn't need swimming lessons & look she was right again!! I bought this little vest for learners last year & it was too big, but it is perfect this year. My little 'scared of nothing' girl was going in the deep end by the end of the day & jumping in from the stairs, then cried when it was time to get out! I am so excited about the beach even more now!! look at her~
Marie & Ryan before pinning~
WE are all so proud of Marie~
love this CAKE!!
Michael stopped by before his baseball trip for a picture & hug~
Ellie trying out the icing!
Congratulations Nurse Marie~
I went to the Dr. today. They are still only seeing one small, non-active bleed behind the placenta. At its largest 8 cm, is now down to 4cm. Praise the Lord! Patrick is doing great & so am I. We are moving right along & I am feeling ready to get his room together. Hopefully, we can get it started before vacation & finish up the switching of furniture after. We bought the paint last week. He is up to the 80% this week~ already weighing 3 pounds!! They have been closely watching his growth, & now I think he will be just fine size-wise! His hr was 136, good fluid & always lots of movement! Dr. Hodshon went on & put me on the books for a repeat c-section for July 20th. Dr. Drey, the same guy who delivered Ellie will do it again! I am feeling very blessed that all our prayers were heard & knowing He will continue to watch over us the next 10.5 weeks!

27 weeks!
I do have some belly pictures... will get them posted!
Baby Patrick & I are doing well. I can't hardly believe I am in the third trimester already!?! I guess staying busy with Ellie makes time go by faster.
My appointment was rather uneventful on April 9th. Dr. Hallman said ultra sound only saw one bleed & it was smaller than the previous visit. I am not convinced the u/s tech looked hard enough, but I left having wishful thinking. Chad was not able to make the appt, so it was very thankful to my friend Marianne for keeping Ellie. Dr. said Patrick is still doing great~ right on track in the 50% weighning in at 1#9 ounces. I am still not bleeding which is good news & really nice. He is moving all over the place which makes it harder to get comfortable but SUCH a relief to know he is ok everyday!! He ok'd me to go on back to work PRN. I was only scheduled one night before my next visit anyways ... I know, tough life;) aslo, I passed my GTT & all labs looked good... whew, No Gestational Diabetes!!
My next appt is with my fav Dr., Dr. Hodshon, on May 8th ... I will be 28 4/7 weeks. They do have another u/s scheduled & hope he oks me to be back to normal exercise & such.
Ellie is so cute when she talks to my belly ... 'hi baby Pa-rick, what you doin'?' 'I wove baby Pa-rick!' He always perks up & moves around when she is close by. She looks in by belly button & says in the mornings or after nap time 'he wake up?' Like he was asleep because she was!! Other times in the day she says 'he swimming in there!' Makes me smile & giggle becasue she is going to be all over him!! She says, 'he comin out in July', but i wonder if she realizes how this is really going to be?!? Ellie is such a sweet girl & I know she will be the BEST Big Sister!! Love these babies so much ~
I have two friends struggling with infertility... keeping them both in my prayers & hoping the Lord will bless them both very soon. We are so blessed!

Happy Easter from the Mosses!!
We have had a wonderful weekend together~
Sunday, we woke up & had breakfast. Ellie was so excited the Easter Bunny came to see her! We got ready & went to church. We took these pictures afterwards & they are actually pretty good! I am 24 weeks now...
This afternoon we have plans at our friends, The Clark's. Easter egg hunt & dinner!
We are so blessed to have a 'family' here when we are not able to be with our families in Nashville. We miss them but are looking forward to time with Great friends!!

More March
Can't believe March is almost over, I am 23 weeks along this week & the BOY has name!! But, first things first...
Here are Chad & Ellie playing with her new bubble blower. It has been a hit, she loves bubbles! We have had some beautiful weather & able to play outside a lot.
Ellie always shows her belly when I take belly pictures! It is so cute~ here we are at 20 weeks. We were still deciding his name...
Ellie girl at her 2 year dr visit. She is right on her growth chart; 28 pounds (60th%) 36.5 inches (95%), & ahead of the game developmentally. Dr, Farmer said she is medically boring & happy to have a new little patient in July! NO SHOTS~yay but she was still not too happy about being examined... still got a sucker so I guess she wasn't too bad!?!
Showing off that she is 2 years old! & being so close to St. Patrick's Day, we went festive!! Love this dress from Mo Mo!! I am glad she will be able to wear it again next year.
Aunt Maggie came for a couple days during spring break! We loved having her & wish she would just move in!! Ellie had a big time taking Maggie all around. Our visits are always too short, but you know the life of a 15 year old girl is BUSY ;)
Happy St. Patrick's Day... Mo Mo & Grandaddy came up for the weekend!! We got lots of honey do's done. Chad's dad is a doer & got Chad moving on some projects around here!! Next time they visit we will be painting a little boys room BLUE!Ellie is going to be such a BIG helper!! She loves playing with her babies... feeding them, changing them, pushing them around in strollers~ She talks about baby brother all the time!
This week my sweet girl is sick. We went on to the Dr. Wednesday... she has rsv! There are lots of germs around I suppose one way or another she got it. We also got her first round of antibiotics for the beginnings of an ear infection. Poor girl was pretty sick but already feeling better today~ Just a horrible cough & very runny nose.
And the news you are waiting for... We decided to name our boy after two of the greatest men we know... our dad's!! Patrick Joseph Moss~ We can't wait to meet you, in July!!! Patrick is my dad's middle name, we knew we wanted to use it in some way. Joseph is Chad's dads name. We weren't coming to any decisions on another first name, so we decided to use them both~ He definitely has a family name & two great role models to lead him down his lifes path.

20 weeks
Well, I am a little behind & have no pictures... but I just wanted to give a little pregnancy update.
I went to the Dr. at 19 weeks. We found out we are having a BOY!! Still hard to believe & not really sure how we are going to change gears... but we are VERY excited!! Baby Boy looks good! He is in the 50% & moving like crazy. He has been getting the hiccups latley! No, he still doesn't have a name... I know, SO not like me not to have something monogrammed already but we just cannot decide!!! Chad & I have a list going but nothing nailed down. Ellie would have been Nathan Patrick & I do think that is Chad's favorite, but we will see!!
The visit went well. The bleeding has, for the moment, stopped! I still hold my breath everytime I go to the bathroom, but it is a good sign for now! I hate to even say it but this will be 3 weeks without :) YAY. We saw one of my favs, Dr. Hodshon. He said his wife, a L&D nurse, went through the same thing with their second. He had her stay off work & focus on life at home. We decided if it were his decision for his own wife then we would do the same! But no active bleeding, even though the bleed is up to 8 cm from 7. So obviously, I was still concerned. He had good things to say & made me feel better. My placenta is low lying, but not a previa. More good news.
Our next appointment, ultra sound & GTT are on April 9th. We are hoping for no increase in bleed size, no active bleeding, the ok to go back to work my weekends & no pelvic rest... ;)
All the thoughts & prayers are MUCH appreciated. We are so blessed to have all the support~this BOY is Loved. Now for a name~
I am 22 weeks now & will be 24 by Easter. This is going by SO fast & I am finally showing a little!!
