Last weekend, we had my sister in laws bridal shower! All of the family came & a few friends! It was a nice afternoon, showering the bride to be! This was really her only shower ... she isn't all about being the center of attention, therefore having a small destination wedding! We are heading to Santa Rosa, FL for the beach wedding. Chad was able to get his week of vacation the week leading to the wedding! We are flying out on the 6th!

Easter Card

We went to Portrait Innovations for Ellie's Easter picture this year. We just had her 1 year pictures taken, so didn't need to go over board & the $10 deal they have was too good to pass up! After how the Santa pictures went, I didn't figure it would go so well with the Bunny!! So we went last week & decided this was the best one!! Of course, I was photo shopped out. The cards we got for the family are really sweet~one even has her Easter basket in it, but no bunnies because she was not very fond of them :( Miss Ellie is my heart & just the cutest little girl ever ;) still hard to believe she is 13 months old... Sometimes we can get caught up in bunnies, eggs & candy at this time of year. But this morning, I am remembering what this time of year really symbolizes. I am truely blessed & so very thankful~

St. Patrick's Day

& Ellie's first hair cut! We had an appointment with Carrie @ Salon Couture, 3/17/11! Ellie always goes with me for hair appts but has never had her own! Carrie had a special certificate for her & a little baggie for her lock of hair.

So, hope you all had a fun St. Patty's day & didn't get pinched ;) We had such an eventful, fun March it's hard to believe later this week it will be APRIL!! Whoa! The weather is warming up here & we are loving being able to play outside! We have a trip to Nashville planned in April ... for a whole week~we want to see all our friends!

I have had the tutu for this day since the girl was 6 months old! I got her a BIG cupcake from the bakery, since cupcakes were the theme of her birthday! We had so much fun celebrating Ellie turning one!!!

Ellie's First Birthday

Our sweet Ellie is already 1 year old!! & the girl did some celebrating!!! We went to Nashville for her family birthday party. We had such a fun day with all of her family & lots of friends! The Carell Room @ our church was perfect for all 90 of us! A friend told me planning a first birthday party was like planning a small wedding ... & woah, was she right! But, all in all we had a great time & the birthday girl was great!

So, here is the birthday girl on her REAL birthday, 3/8/11~ We came back to Johnson City for a little celebrating. We had a smaller version of Saturday at our house on Tuesday! Mom, Ann & Marie drove up for the day! We had such a fun little time with our friends here! Ellie is a fan of cupcakes for sure (guess she takes after her mom :))

We had so so much fun! My birthday was wonderful as well! I guess, we will always celebrate together! Ellie got lots of new toys, books & clothes! The girl is definitely loved by many! She even got her first pair of Stride Rites from my parents. She is walking so well & getting fast! We went for her check up on Thursday ~ she weighs 22 pounds 6 ounces, 31 inches long. She is growing up so fast!!
